For our corporate office located at Syndey International Airport we are looking for a Promotions Officer. As Promotions Officer, you will work very closely with the Promotions Manager to strengthen Heinemann Australia’s position in the market and establish productive relationships with Vendors and other Stakeholders in order to maximize the Advertisement & Promotions budget. You will develop and execute promotional initiatives and in turn communicate our unique point of difference in the market. You will ensure efficient execution of in-store campaigns per brand based on the annual promotional plan and maintain good collaboration and communication with all parties involved. You will be responsible for securing and implementing a strong promotional calendar to drive sales and your main objective will be to achieve the yearly promotional rental income and analyse promotional success for all branded activities. The role requires strong communication skills to liaise with all parties involved (internal and external).**Promotions Officer**

Your new job includes
- Negotiate, manage and execute the Promotional Calendar across all categories and Airport locations.
- Close communication with Vendors regarding execution of brands, products and promotional mechanics across all stores - Departures and Arrivals.
- Close communication with all relevant parties (internal and external) regarding successful execution of promotional activities at store level (stock assortment, stock orders and delivery, align digital advertising with campaigns, approve artwork design, POSM, planograms, staffing support, store execution, etc.) to deliver excellence.
- Dealing with third parties eg. Airport Corporations, Mainfreight (Warehouse), Installers, Promotional Agencies and Contractors.
- Participate in Vendor negotiations to confirm each year’s activities and create a strong promotional strategy to increase brand and product awareness.
- Maintain the yearly Marketing Catalogues showcasing promotional zones and opportunities in line with business developments.
- Generate new promotional initiatives to boost sales.
- General administrational tasks and responsibilities.

- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, highly organized and proven success working in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong orientation to the provision of a high level of customer service and demonstrated ability to partner with Vendors.
- Strong influencing and analytical skills with a proven ability to build relationships and solve problems creatively, utilizing sound judgment.
- Ability to analyze data and identify key trends.
- A general understanding of retail marketing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Excel. SAP knowledge and skills is preferential.
- A general interest and/or experience with the categories such as Liquor, Tobacco, Confectionary, Health & Wellbeing, Fine Food, Perfume & Cosmetics, Fashion & Accessories, is beneficial.
