- Placement Matching: Match children and young people with foster carers based on our multicultural foster care model.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with the DCJ and other government and non-government organisations on referrals and reportable activities.
- Advocacy & Support: Ensure the views of children and young people are considered, provide essential information and support to foster carers, and work collaboratively with various support services.
About You
You are a compassionate and highly organised individual with a strong commitment to ethical practice. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have the proven ability to build trust and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
**Essential criteria we're looking for**:
- Proven experience in child protection or Out-of-Home Care (OOHC).
- A relevant tertiary degree or currently enrolled in one.
- Experience working effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Well-developed analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills.
