**The Village Retirement Group **is an award-winning business dedicated to designing and managing quality retirement villages for those aged over 65 across Brisbane Suburbs. Our villages are characterised by a combination of superb accommodation and social facilities, which provide a wonderful lifestyle and community atmosphere for residents. **We are a family-based business with over 2,000 residents calling our villages home. **We pride ourselves on the calibre of staff we employ within the group and highly value our team, who share their vision for the future.

We have 5 villages across the Greater Brisbane Region (all within 20kms of the Brisbane CBD), plus more villages under development, providing a range of options for luxury retirement living to suit everyone.

**The Role**:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Village Managers to lead our thriving community of seniors

As Village Manager, you'll be integral to the healthy heartbeat of our seniors’ community, **overseeing operations and steering your team.** Under your leadership and with support from Sales Managers and Corporate staff, you will create a warm and welcoming environment, where residents are proud to live.

With your exceptional leadership abilities, you'll inspire and uplift the team. You will deliver a **high level of service with exceptional interpersonal skills**, further promoting the camaraderie between staff and residents. Your dedication to the well-being of our residents will be evident in every engagement, with a focus on positive and empowering experiences for everyone involved. Our Village Managers are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring our Villages remain **uplifting and positive communities where retirees can thrive.**

**About You**:
As our new Village Manager, you will have a** strong track record of success in managing residential villages, with retirement village or fast-paced multi-residential experience essential.** Vital to your success will be your astute nature, and your ability to carry out your duties in an **engaging and energetic manner,** whilst balancing resident satisfaction with procedure and policy compliance in a busy and vibrant village.

Your** financial acumen will play a crucial role in managing the annual village budget,** ensuring the continued prosperity of our community and its residents. You will have a **positive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues, **including the Sales team and corporate staff.

You will have:

- Experience maintaining successful relationships with residents, staff and collegues
- Ability to see the bigger picture, managing resident expectations whilst balancing the interest of the overall business
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, including internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Interest in collaboration across all facets of the business to build successful relationships
- Strong understanding of the importance of compliance with regulations and laws, and the ability to ensure correct processes are followed
- Willingness to comply with existing policy and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills, adept at leading a small, dedicated team
- Ability to work autonomously an demonstrate initiative

- We may also have a higher level role available for a Southside Operations Manager in Brisbane, for someone with extensive experience in operations management of residential living._
