**About Adelaide Venue Management (AVM)**

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) operates three of South Australia’s most iconic event venues: the **Adelaide Convention Centre**, the **Adelaide Entertainment Centre**, and **Coopers Stadium**. These venues host a diverse range of events—from world-class concerts and sporting events to conferences and exhibitions—and provide a dynamic environment for those pursuing a career in the events and hospitality industries.

**About the Role**

We are offering **rare and exciting opportunities** for motivated individuals to join our **Hospitality Traineeship Program**, providing a structured pathway into the fast-paced world of event-based hospitality. Over the course of **24 months**, you’ll receive **on-the-job training** at our three venues across **ten key operational departments**, gaining hands-on experience and formal tuition toward the nationally recognised **Certificate III in Hospitality**.

You’ll work in a variety of roles, including:

- ** Event Floor Services/Food & Beverage**:

- ** Home Ground Cafe**:

- ** Utilities & Housekeeping**:

- ** Kitchen Operations**:

- ** Audio Visual Technical Operations**:

- ** Set Crew**:

- ** Visitor Services (Floor Ambassadors / Customer Relations)**:

- ** Concession Outlets**:

- **Corporate Suites**:

- ** Functions**:

- ** Workforce Planning**:

- **Uniforms Department**:

- ** Procurement**

At the conclusion of the program, you will have developed a broad skill set across different areas of event hospitality, making you well-equipped for future roles in the industry.

**What We’re Looking For**

- ** Positive, Dynamic Attitude**: Resilience, energy, and a “can-do” approach to every challenge.
- ** Flexibility**: Ability to work varied hours, including early starts, late finishes, which may fall outside normal public transport hours.
- ** Good Personal Fitness**: Event work can be physically demanding, so a good level of fitness is essential.
- ** Previous Experience**: While not required, any experience in events, hospitality, or customer service will be advantageous.
- ** Age Requirement**: Applicants must be **over 18** to meet licensing requirements for the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
