**Purpose**:To provide hands on maintenance and grounds maintenance services according to the scope of works in the contract and to Super Gardens policies and procedures. This includes operating in safe working conditions, producing high quality work, maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders and to ensure an excellent standard of service is provided to our clients in the North West Region of Melbourne

**Responsibilities**
- Undertake scheduled preventative routine maintenance along with emergency repair and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling repairs, door and window hardware repairs, to ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard
- Assist in identifying maintenance duties relating to appearance and safety of the School
- Utilise the electronic maintenance and response process (My Maintenance)
- Perform various labouring tasks on and occasionally off campus i.e. Archive retrieval or hardware pick ups
- Complete audit checks - Buildings, water, gas, playgrounds, toilets, Essential Services, etc.
- Undertake fault finding to repair various problems, within the limits and scope of experience and knowledge
- Pro-actively look for improvements and enhancements to services to make operations more effective, and liaise with Property Manager to arrange implementation, if appropriate
- Perform maintenance and repairs to buildings to both internal and external areas, which could include paving, fascia’s, gutters, roof and pathways
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Assist with relevant contractors and ensure work is carried out in accordance with the scope of the task
- Manage and maintain tools and equipment and immediately report any malfunctions to the Property Manager
- Complete Essential Services maintenance and inspections as required
- Assist with function set up and function clean up as required
- Assist when required with the security of the School
- Assist contractors when required in routine and emergency works
- Assist the Property Manager at times with the supervising of external contractors ensuring maintenance tasks are completed as directed
- Assist with traffic management on College grounds
- Utilise appropriate risk management processes and strategies Any other duties as directed by the Principal or Deputy Principal
