**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to lead the seamless integration and performance of The Commons Workspaces and Health Clubs. This is a pivotal role that ensures operational systems are robust, aligned across teams, and continuously improving to elevate the member experience.
As the Operations Manager, you will drive standardised procedures across all locations, lead compliance initiatives, manage systems and vendor relationships, and support our club teams to deliver excellence every day. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency — championing best practice and operational integrity at every level.

**About You**
You’re an operations professional with exceptional leadership skills and a solutions-driven mindset. With experience managing teams, systems, and compliance in dynamic environments, you are known for your ability to optimise workflows, implement structure, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
You're energised by creating seamless experiences — both for team members and customers — and have a passion for quality, consistency, and continuous improvement. You’re confident managing systems, suppliers, and audits, and you lead by example, championing values, culture, and collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Integration of Workspaces & Health Clubs**
- Strengthen the operational relationship between Workspaces and Health Clubs.
- Align processes, branding, and service expectations across both environments.
- Foster collaboration between teams to deliver a seamless member experience.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in integration and experience.
**Operational Systems Management**
- Own and manage operational systems including Safety Culture, Hapana, and workspace integrations.
- Ensure all team members are trained and aligned in the use of key systems.
- Be the main point of contact for troubleshooting, upgrades, and process optimisation.
- Ensure 100% of club teams are trained on core systems within 30 days of onboarding.
**Club Operations & Site Audits**
- Lead the rollout of standardised operational systems and processes across all locations.
- Conduct monthly site audits to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and brand compliance.
- Support Club Managers in optimising workflows and resolving operational challenges.
**Compliance & Escalation**
- Be the first escalation point for OHS issues and maintenance concerns.
- Ensure health & safety policies are adhered to at all times across all sites.
- Oversee compliance documentation including incident reports and annual building reviews.
- Track First Aid and CPR certifications to ensure renewals are completed on time.
**Leadership & Team Support**
- Provide guidance and leadership to Club Managers and their teams.
- Step into frontline roles when needed, including greeting members and assisting with daily operations.
- Conduct quarterly operational reviews with Club Managers.
- Ensure operational training manuals are accurate and up to date.
**Vendor & Supplier Management**
- Oversee vendor relationships including performance, contracts, and negotiations.
- Ensure vendors meet The Commons’ quality and service expectations.
- Conduct annual contract reviews to optimise cost and efficiency.
**Reporting & Strategic Projects**
- Assist with club budgeting and performance analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead strategic projects that drive operational excellence and scalability.
- Stay informed of industry trends and proactively explore ways to enhance offerings.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in operations, facility management, or similar roles.
- Proven experience managing systems and leading cross-functional teams.
