Sydney, Australia Medical Director Full time

MedicalDirector is part of the Telstra Health group, Australia’s largest e-Health company which provides software products, solutions, platforms and services across health, aged care and social services.

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our MedicalDirector Technology team. The purpose of the Product Owner is to act as the interface between the Product & Design Team plus other stakeholders through to the Technology Team to drive the prioritisation and grooming process and enabling optimal software delivery.

**Requirements**:
You are responsible for:

- Owning the product and shaping it’s future deliverables including keeping the team accountable for that delivery and ensuring the team is supported throughout the Product Development Process
- Acting as the ambassador for the product delivery within the Technology Team
- Collaborating with the Product & Design Team plus other stakeholders to ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for implementation
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing users stories based on comparative priority referred back to the business strategy
- Proactively work in a cross-functional capacity to remove roadblocks and optimise delivery
- Implement and maintain the process of Product and Design initiatives into Technology user stories
- Participating in Scrum meetings, quarterly planning and product sprints
- Promoting team collaboration, and driving quality-led best practices within the team
- Helping team members to succeed and grow by providing coaching, mentoring and support

**Behaviours, Key Skills & Experience Required**
- Able to effectively coordinate cross-functional stakeholder conversations including conflict resolution
- Ability to manage high calibre people and stakeholders
- An effective change agent and problem solver able to identify opportunities within the grey for improvement and how to get there
- Solid knowledge of the agile methodology and comfortable with fast delivery cadence with a proven history of delivery success
- Highly organised, expertly capable of delivering to communicated timelines with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- At least 5 years of experience in a product power or similar role
- Experience with SaaS and Medical Technology is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
