**Product Owner**

Permanent - Hybrid

Location: National role, within traveling distance to a corporate office.

Westpac is seeking an experienced Product Owner with extensive product ownership skills, a robust delivery background, and expertise in guiding teams and organizations through Agile transitions.

**How will I help?**

The Product Owner will work within an Agile team to support the development of a high-value, high-quality product under the Westpac Agile Execution Framework, helping the division achieve its business goals. Acting as a liaison between the Service Owner (or customer) and the Agile development team, the Product Owner ensures that the team's output aligns with the overall product strategy and delivers the intended value.

The Product Owner is responsible for guiding the team to develop the right solutions, while the team ensures they are implemented correctly.

**What do I need?**
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in agile environments
- Background in the financial services sector, ideally within front line
- Proven experience in tech-driven delivery
- Strong project management abilities
- Experience in large, complex organizations with senior stakeholder engagement and understanding
- Proficiency in clarifying ambiguous communication
