Creative Design Manager

We are searching for an experienced
**Creative Design Manager **to develop and manage our retail and commercial identities, specifically the
**Coolaroo®** and
**GALE Pacific** brands, across the markets we serve.

In this newly created role, we need an energetic professional who can collaborate and manage priorities effectively, using insights to proactively recommend ideas and strategies based on analysis and experience.

Experience working with copywriting, messaging, and communications functions will be advantageous to enrich our diverse portfolio of products and channels to market. Along with a strong design portfolio, demonstrated experience in graphic, digital, merchandising and packaging design will enable the Creative Design Manager to innovate and enhance the consumer experience and sales journey.

This role reports to the Marketing Director for ANZ, MENA and Eurasia, and in support of our growth strategy, the Creative Design Manager will have the opportunity to recruit a Graphic Designer (in-house) to support the development of the required materials.

**The role**
- Lead the creative design development and execution to support our brand strategies for Coolaroo**®** and GALE Pacific brands
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute the brand vision and value proposition, packaging, positioning, points of differentiation, creative direction, and the setting of style guides and brand guidelines
- Contribute to the development of the overarching Global brand strategies for retail and commercial brands (Global markets include US, MENA, Europe and Asia)
- Lead the translation of data and information into highly effective and engaging visuals and deliverables
- Develop and execute content and digital strategies to support new product launches in both retail and commercial businesses
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver compelling digital content consistent with industry trends and requirements
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver on projects (i.e. Marcoms, Product Managers, Sales, Operations)
- Lead and support multiple strategic and tactical projects simultaneously (i.e. graphics projects, new product launches, customer meetings, digital campaigns, collateral, and tradeshows)
- Provide consultation and proofreading, on copy used across multiple platforms (i.e. packaging, merchandising, collateral, digital, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Visual Arts, Fine Arts or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s in Marketing/Communications is a plus)
- Proven management experience of Graphic Design and Brand/Marketing/Communications
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects
- Experience of prioritising multiple, concurrent projects with a collaborative approach

**Technical Experience**:

- Experience with current colour, typography, design trends, technology and industry standards for all aspects of Art & Design
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in CMYK Printing Processes & large format production
- Motion graphics editing software, animation, illustration, UI/UX, and web design expertise is a plus but not necessary.
- Experience in creating renders / computer generated images highly regarded
