Health Care DC based in Ringwood are looking to employ a Storeperson/Leading hand in an ongoing role

**Your new company**
Health care distribution centre in Ringwood is experiencing a period of growth and as such require an experienced Storeperson/Leading hand

**Your new role**
- To provide timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to all the hospital's wards and departments.
- To oversee incoming goods ensuring goods are signed for and the condition of goods recorded accurately on all inwards documentation.
- Ensure expiry dates of goods are checked on arrival. To assist with Cycle Counts as per the department standard Operating Procedure.
- To maintain general cleanliness of store room and loading dock. Attend any meetings relevant to the Supply function, as requested.
- Where it is required you may be enlisted to assist Departments and Wards in planning stores layout
- Drive counter balance and reach forklifts
- Specific Team Leader duties may include as directed by Warehouse Supervisor
- To coordinate the daily duties with staff allocated in conjunction and agreed with Warehouse Manager.
- Provide cover in the absence of Warehouse Supervisor role.
- Ensure staff on site comply with taking accrued leave as required by Eastern Health guidelines.
- Support and advise the Warehouse Manager where required that the groups I Learn training is completed in timely manner.
- To Coordinate (and where required) in the training of new and existing staff.
- Liaising on a daily basis advising staff are on site.
- To contact Warehouse Supervisor throughout the day and end shift reporting the status of the daily operations and any key customer service issues.
- Support, develop and implement process improvements Other duties as requested by your direct manager

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Experience in warehousing / Team leader roles
- Forklift licence and ability to drive counter balance and high reach
- High level or organisational skills
- Supervisory experience and able to work well with other staff and work schedules
- Solid knowledge of warehousing systems and able to learn new programs on computers
- Be immediately available

**What you'll get in return***
- Long term role with view to going permanent
- $36-$37 per hour + Super + OT
- Paid weekly
