**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Care Workers to join our team. As a Support Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support and assistance to our clients, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives in their homes and communities. You will work closely with individuals with various needs, including elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or injury.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with mobility and transfer activities.
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional support.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, social outings, and errands.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS worker screening check number
- National Police check
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brunswick, VIC 3056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Worker screening check Number (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
