Canberra, Australia Downsizing with Care Full time

Downsizing with Care, a leading provider of senior moving and downsizing services, is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Transport Crew Member to join our team.

As a Transport Crew Member, you will be responsible for driving a van, loading it with client items from their home or garage, and transporting them to the client's storage unit or destinations such as the Green Shed. You will work flexible shifts to accommodate the needs of our clients and team.

Responsibilities include:

- Drive company vans to transport client items from their homes to storage units or other destinations.
- Load and unload client items with care, ensuring items are secured and protected during transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of items transported and their destination.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 20kgs and be able to move and handle furniture and other heavy items.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in transportation or delivery preferred.

Pay is $30.00 an hour plus superannuation.
