**About Us**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity a People Engagement Advisor (PEA) to join the People Engagement Team based out of Camberwell. The PEA is responsible for partnering with our People Engagement Managers, Retail Operations Team, Retail Business Leaders and Retail Managers and their respective retail teams, to provide an outstanding customer experience and contribute to excellence in people leadership, engagement, learning and recognition.

**About the Role**:
**This role includes the responsibility for (but not limited to):
- Assist in the measuring, management and improvement of employee engagement
- Work collaboratively with the team to update and improve People Engagement processes
- Assist in the administration and coordination of the recruitment and selection of management and team in line with company policies and processes to ensure fairness and consistency in approach.
- Coach and support Team Members to lead by example and recognise positive behaviour using the We Love Your Work Program
- Demonstrate and drive safe behaviours by giving clear direction, setting and enforcing standards and delivering a consistent message
- Provide technical advice and guidance in relation to inherent requirement processes by contributing a thorough understanding of employment laws and practices
- Assist with performance management to ensure that all Team Members are delivering the best work for API
- Use the HRIS system (SuccessFactors) to drive performance excellence

**About you**:
- Ability to coach line management to create behavioural change
- Strong operational HR skill set (eg: HR metrics, recruitment and selection, induction, performance management)
- Proven ability to influence and relate to all levels of the organisation
- Experienced in delivery of key HR initiatives
- Tertiary qualification in HR management or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR Administration/Advisor role
- Demonstrated knowledge of current OH&S legislation and related practices
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations and industrial relations combined with an understanding of operations within the retail sector
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience with HRIS specifically SuccessFactors will be highly regarded.
