**The Opportunity**

The Manager of Marine Services is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of the crewing contract model. In this role, you will play a crucial part managing subcontracted arrangements that require maintaining compliance, overseeing the validity of marine asset insurances, and ensuring that all activities align with strategic objectives while optimising for efficient marine operations.

You will report directly to the GM of Marine Operations and be a part of our broader technical and Port Marine team. This position is based at our HQ office in Osborne Park, with occasional oversight of projects onsite as the business requires.

Key responsibilities may include:

- Negotiate and manage contracts to deliver Subcontracted Agreements to support overall objectives of MinRes Marine.
- Conduct assurance and verification of Subcontract Agreements to ensure all legal and contractual deliverables are met.
- Establish regular contract meetings with Subcontractors to monitor progress and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Represent MinRes marine in the management and maintenance of our Marine Insurance contracts including but not limited to (H&M, P&L, War & Cargo).
- Oversee the mobilisation of subcontracted crew members in compliance with MRL standards.
- Other general services duties which may include administrative tasks, coordinating events and other duties as directed and within scope of skills and experience

**What is required?**
- Degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Degree in Commercial/ Business
- Extensive experience in Offshore, Maritime or Oil & Gas related field with proficient understanding of marine operations in Australia & Asia Pacific (is desirable)
- Experience in Industrial and Employee Relations negotiations and processes.
- Strong experience in commercial and legal processes/ negotiations
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong stakeholder engagement & management - both external & internal
- ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
