About the Role

Reporting to the Safer Custody Unit Manager you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Safer Custody function at Acacia Prison. You will provide administration support to ensure operational policies and procedures are adhered to. You will be responsible for developing a high degree of positive internal and external stakeholder engagement, in addition you will meet and maintain all administration requirements which are specific to the management of Safer Custody as well as those that are relevant and maintained across Acacia Prison.

You are a passionate and highly motivated individual with a high level of communication both orally and in written form with the demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, high quality reports within designated timeframes. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Demonstrated experience using MS office to prepare high quality documentation
Exposure to the Criminal Justice System or similar human services
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (desirable)
Cultural awareness including understanding the impact and management of different
ethnic backgrounds, customs and contemporary issues
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills

This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role.
