Are you a creative and skilled Data Analyst with a passion for People plus building impactful dashboards and data models? Has a previous Human Resources strategic business partner experience supporting end-to-end HR life cycle activities such as HR Analysis, Metrics and Dashboards for internal and external regulatory reports plus strategic planning such as Talent Acquisition, Organisational Growth, Gender Pay Gap, WGEA, Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and lead the integration, transformation, and visualisation of people and safety data from multiple systems. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enabling data-driven decision-making across our large hospitality and food services organisation.

**The Role**

As an **HR Data Analyst People & Safety**, you will play a vital role in transforming workforce and safety data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making across employee safety, recruitment, learning compliance, reward & performance, and workforce analytics. You will be responsible for data ingestion, storage, security, and visualisation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for strategic initiatives. **Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with system owners to design and bring together people and safety data from various people and safety systems
- Automate ETL processes within Power BI to transform raw data into efficient data models such as star schemas
- Design and deliver visually stunning dashboards and analytics that provide actionable insights
- Implement robust data access controls (Row-Level Security and Object-Level Security) to ensure secure reporting for multiple user groups
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into impactful reports
- Innovate by leveraging Power BI as the sole platform for ETL, modelling, access controls and visualization

**The Person**
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling
- Strong understanding of star schema design principles for analytics
- Proven experience automating ETL processes using CSV files or other flat-file formats within Power BI
- Expertise in implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) in Power BI
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize large datasets for performance
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present insights effectively
- Familiarity or experience with the Microsoft power platform
- Experience working with HR or safety systems is a plus
- knowledge of Azure Active Directory for managing user authentication in Power BI
