Sydney- Investment Banking- PermanentOur client is a leading **global investment bank** looking to add an experienced payroll officer to the **Sydney** team. This position would be responsible for the ownership of end-to-end monthly pay runs for numerous local staff and working across multiple entities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update payroll database
- Maintain and ensure employees’ records are up to date
- Leave management in WorkDay and iChris.
- Prepare termination calculation
- End-of-month reporting and remit payment to third-party vendors
- Timely lodgement & payment of superannuation, withholding tax, and payroll tax to all authorities
- Setup timesheets for employees
- Assist in all year-end reconciliations
- Partner with Payroll Controllers, HR Business Partners and BU to ensure all pay-related matters are attended to promptly and accurately

**Qualifications/experience**:

- Minimum 2 - 3 years of payroll experience (end-to-end payroll processing)
- iChris experience is essential
- Advance knowledge in Excel (VLookups & Pivot Table) & Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of current legislative requirements including all taxes legislation, LSL legislation across all major states, ability to interpret Banking Finance & Insurance (BFI) Award, Single Touch Payroll and superannuation
