Given the rapid growth and success of this business there are some new and emerging future leaders who will need a firm but fair HSE professional to lead and demonstrate best practice. With a team of 7 and 2 direct reports there is no one between you and the MD therefore your ability to manage risk, understand outcomes and direct the messaging to the greater business will require excellent communication skills and mentorship.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**
- Establish and maintain honest and transparent relationships with all Clients, communication and key meetings are crucial to the continues success of the business and importantly the safety of all.
- Provide advice to all levels of the organisation across all matters related to H&S, you are the champion of everything that relates to the workers being fit for work and promoting a culture where safety is on everyone's lips, etched on their minds and in all that they do.
- Be present in the workshops and on the ground in the field promoting and leading safety interactions to encourage continuous open and free safety discussions.
- Injury Management is in your DNA, and key stakeholders will be on your speed dial, with an aim of not needing to call them However, when needed, you will be responsible to consult with the insurer and broker to ensure best approach to challenging cases in injury management, consult with medical practitioners/providers to ensure best outcomes for injured employees.
- Champion and provide the opportunity for continuous learning and improvement, present safety topics, highlight any trends identified in incidents.
- Ensure the EAP and all things mental health are a part of everyday conversations, “are you ok?” is not for one day of the year but 365 days.

**THIS SOUNDS PERFECT WHERE DO I SIGN UP?**

We need a safety geek - someone with
**expertise across the full spectrum of safety**, from site preparation and execution of HSE audits/assessments to being a team leader in the education and training of safety.

Some of the essentials we are looking for are:

- It is desirable to have a Tertiary qualification in the WHS field (minimum Certificate IV in WHS)
- It is desirable to have a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- You must have experience in leading HSEQ audits
- You must prove to us you have master experience in a health and safety leadership role
