**RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR**

Uptown Vibes is an upcoming fun, modern café, bar, and bistro offering a unique dining experience in the heart of Braddon. We are looking for responsible and reliable Day and Night (two different positions) Restaurant Supervisors to take the lead and work closely with the owners to bring this establishment to new heights. Uptown Vibes is expected to open by the end of October 2024.

**As the Restaurant Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include the following**:

- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations and always ensure best practices are maintained in all areas of the restaurant
- Management of FOH floor operations and associated activities such as serving food, clearing tables and running the dishwasher
- Point of sale duties
- Hiring and training staff
- Managing staff breaks, delegating tasks and duties to staff
- Stocktake
- Exemplary customer service; including complaints handling, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and feedback evaluation
- Working well in a team and creating a positive work environment/culture
- Work closely with the owners to meet KPIs and targets

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:

- You must have the right to work in Australia (no work sponsorships will be offered)
- Relevant experience in restaurant management
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Knowledge of POS system (Square)
- Energetic, positive, and friendly personality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- A can-do attitude
- Be open to change

**Job Type**: Full time hours

**Pay**: From $60,000 per annum
- Day Supervisor Schedule:_
- Monday, Thursday - Sunday
- Night Supervisor Schedule:_
- Monday - Saturday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual
