ODE Dermatology was founded by dermatological pioneer, Dr Shammi Theesan. Our award-nominated clinic is located on the “second coolest street in the world”- Gertrude St, Fitzroy, and provides medical dermatology and advanced cosmetic medicine through unique protocols.

Having experienced rapid growth over the past 12 months the team are recruiting a full-time marketing assistant to support the marketing manager across daily marketing activities.

ARE YOU WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

A typical week will encompass organic content creation (video and graphics), and curating a narrative that’s educational and brand-aligned. Content is shared across digital platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok and our website, accompanied by complimentary copy that aims to educate and increase awareness.

Typical week compromises of organic vid creation for tik tok/Instagram, curating unique EDM’s, graphic creation using photoshop/In design (these are a must), copywriting, stakeholder engagement and administrative tasks as directed by management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- You will have tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications or equivalent experience in a marketing/communications role. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or complimenting role is required.
- Attention to detail and impressive communication skills (both written and oral).
- Great copywriting skills particularly within a social-media context (captions, descriptions, etc).
- Social-media community engagement skills ( this is necessary 7 days a week)
- Social media management skills (Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook and Linked In
- happy to teach aspects)
- Community engagement
- Efficient time management skills.
- Video editing skills
- both technical skills and imaginative
- Knowledge and experience with using programs such as Photoshop, InDesign and Canva is a must.
- Video-editing software (we are open to which software)
- Squarespace (website) management/building skills.
- Ability to work independently and understand how to get on with the parts of a task you can do and ask questions in bulk
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and utilise creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to the firm’s needs.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
