Earthworks Supervisor

**About the role**:
Maas Civil, a business unit of MGH, is currently seeking an experienced _Civil Earthworks Supervisor_ to join their already highly successful, results driven team - on the **Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project.**

With a strong reputation, based around a team of dedicated professionals, MGH has experienced exponential growth and as the Civil Construction Supervisor, working directly with the Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing of the project, and support the Manager in delivering and keeping the project running smoothly on track and on budget.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Have high attention to detail, be solutions-oriented with a highly optimistic outlook that will inspire and motivative your team
- Build, Lead and effectively mentor a long-term sustainable construction team
- Guide your team to achieve set goals and KPI’s
- Be an effective communicator at all levels, capable of listening, evaluating, and taking appropriate action when required
- Demonstrate high productivity and work ethics that reflect from your professionalism and the rapport your build with your team and work colleagues and clients.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of Plant Operators
- Guide your team on safety requirements in line with client’s and MGH expectation.
- Track inventory and tools
- Provide information as required for internal and external reports
- Be proactive in preventing problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Plan and have the ability to see “the big picture”
- Be competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Possess excellent leadership and communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills
