**About the role**:
The early childhood educator position actively supervises and ensures the wellbeing of enrolled children. Develops and maintains positive relationships with families. All activities performed by the early childhood educator are to be delivered in a way that 'exceeds the education and care services national quality standards'.

**Duties include**:

- Actively supervise children and ensure their wellbeing.
- Assume responsibility as 'responsible officer' as needed in the absence of the centre director.
- Develop and implement activities at the centre consistent with the national quality framework.
- Develop positive customer relations with enrolled families.
- Act as a first aid officer as and when required.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. First Aid - Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004)
2. First Aid - CPR (HLTAID001)
3. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
4. Working with Children Check
5. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

**Position details**:
**Permanent part-tim**e, S1139. This position is 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday located at Balcombe Heights

**Permanent part-time**, S1141. This position is 15 hours per week, Tuesday and Friday located at Castle Glen.

**Temporary full-time**, up to 6 months with the possibility of extension, ML345, located at Excelsior.

**Salary**: Up to $37.07 per hour + Superannuation + Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) + organisational bonus (up to $2K) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts.

Council is also looking to recruit for the position of Casual Early Childhood Education - Diploma, T6850, Salary: Up to $46.34 including casual loading + superannuation + organisational bonus (up to $2K) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts
