Net Zero Advisor

This is a great opportunity to join the Built Environment sector as a Net Zero Advisor to bring Net Zero and regenerative solutions to clients across building, precinct and infrastructure projects.
You will work with interdisciplinary teams and a variety of private and public clients/stakeholders. We are looking for someone who can enthusiastically foresee and communicate challenges that may not yet be apparent to others and bring forth clear and contagious strategies and solutions.
The opportunity:

- Provide strategic consultancy advice to key clients
- Deliver Net Zero and Regenerative climate change solutions in the Buildings, Precincts and Infrastructure sectors to a range of existing clients
- Realise ambitious net zero outcomes
- Undertake energy efficiency assessments, carbon management analysis, LCA and triple bottom line assessments and carbon neutral roadmaps for the built estates and infrastructure assets of our clients
- Manage and deliver successful projects that achieve or exceed the identified outcomes
- Develop new client relationships and help broaden the client base in the government, property, and private sectors as well as in the asset management of existing buildings and portfolios
- Connect Net Zero solutions to the wider climate change practice of offerings such as nature-based solutions
- Facilitate conversations between multiple stakeholders to devise cost effective and tailored net zero strategies
- Present complex information both visually and verbally in a clear and simple way
- What you will bring to the team:

- Relevant work experience 8+ years in a consulting environment working on built environment, master planning and infrastructure assets.
- Knowledge of key methodologies associated with energy and carbon reduction in the built environment, e.g. energy assessments, carbon foot printing, carbon management, and broader sustainability such as; PAS2080, the UN SDGs, Climate Active, Greenstar, NABERS or other relevant programs.
- Experience and/or knowledge of project programming, controls, and methodology.
- Sound commercial understanding and desire to operate within a dynamic commercial environment.
- Clear, concise writing style and experience in proposal writing for specific audiences.
- Ability to work under deadlines and excellent supervisory, organisational, motivational and strong time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working and delivering as a team.
- Gender sensitive behaviour and attitude.
- Proven expertise in digital solutions and innovation in projects.
