Pharmacy Technician Grade 2

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital, an expanding public health service that is committed to ensuring high quality, evidence-based, person-centred, safe and effective patient care. This position will be integral in delivering clinical pharmacy services to our patients and working as part of a multidisciplinary member of the health care team.
- Employment Type - Part Time (0.8EFT 4 days/week), Fixed Term (12 month) maternity leave cover
- Classification - Pharmacy Technician Grade 2
- Pharmacy technician required to provide patient focused quality pharmaceutical service at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
- Inventory and procurement management: medication purchasing/distribution to pharmacy and ward imprest, dispensing and extemporaneous manufacturing.
- This position offers applicants the challenges and rewards of working in a small but dedicated team.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (Equivalent, or eligible to be enrolled).
- Sound communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficient IT skills (Prior Merlin software knowledge desirable).
