**What’s your role?**

We are seeking an experienced automation test lead with a strong background in mobile testing. In this role, you will play a key part in establishing best practices for mobile automation testing, API testing and driving quality across our mobile platforms.

**This is a Permanent role and you can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane**.

**What will I be doing?**
- Develop and maintain the overall automation test strategy for projects and programs, ensuring the most effective and efficient testing practices are implemented
- Evaluate technical and business requirements to produce comprehensive test plans and estimates, aligned with the automation framework
- Lead all automation testing activities, including API testing, and facilitate communication with project stakeholders to ensure testing is completed within schedule and budget
- Participate in and promote test process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and quality
- Define and manage test environment requirements, ensuring environments are up-to-date and in sync with the current codebase
- Manage the design, creation, execution, and reporting of automated tests using a wide range of tools across diverse technology stacks
- Plan and coordinate test execution across various environments, aligning with release management to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain and track testing KPIs and metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement in quality assurance and testing effectiveness
- Provide guidance to automation test analysts, leading CI/CD pipeline initiatives and promoting best practices
- Continuously monitor and control test activities to ensure alignment with project and release goals

**What will I bring?**
- Strong experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including testing services, enterprise project services, and delivery units
- Proven ability to produce high-quality test automation code, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to other developers
- Skilled in developing test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Browserstack and Microsoft Visual Studio
- Proficient in using Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, automation, pipeline orchestration, and reporting
- Strong background in SQL, UML, and working within SCRUM/Agile environments
- Hands-on experience with API testing, including tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar, and the ability to validate RESTful services and microservices
- Expertise in defining and implementing best-practice unit, contract, integration, API, and UI automation testing strategies in CI/CD environments
- Skilled in implementing and maintaining automated test suites and scripts
- Well-versed in test methodologies and testing tools
