**THE ROLE**:
We have a newly created opportunity for a **Quality & Compliance Specialist** to join our Quality & Assurance team within Downer Utilities. Reporting to the Manager - Quality & Assurance, the primary focus of this role is to ensure that quality and best practice is at the forefront of everything we do. As a driver of continuous improvement and efficiencies, this role is imperative to the success of our business and adherence to The Downer Standard.
- The location of this position is flexible however Brisbane or Melbourne based is preferred. _

Some key responsibilities include;
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance.
- Support the annual external GRS Audits across Utilities in both Australia and New Zealand.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Produce detailed audit reports and ensure effective distribution as well as recommendations.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Lead Auditor experience across ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
- Leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools such as ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to express, engage and influence outcomes through high levels of communication and teamwork.
