The Interface/Rule Book Manager is accountable to the Manager, Rail Accreditation and Assurance for:

- Providing leadership in the development, review and implementation of the rail operational systems assurance function to ensure compliance with Network Rules.
- Coordinating and managing the development, execution and maintenance of rail Interface Agreements.
- Coordinating and undertaking audits and investigations to ensure compliance with Operational Procedures, Rules and Standards.
- Coordinating the Rail Commissioner’s Rule Book Committee and manage agreed actions.

**Qualifications/Licenses**
Previous experience in a rail operations or engineering environments is required.

Knowledge and working experience of the _Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012_, _Work Health and Safety Act 2012_ and risk and safety management principles is required.

**Special Conditions**
- This position has been identified as a Rail Safety Worker and has been classified as Category 4 Non-Safety Critical Worker.
- All Rail Safety Workers must carry out their duties in accordance with the _Rail Safety National Law (SA) Act 2012_ and as outlined within the Rail Commissioner’s Safety Management System.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 pa + superannuation.
