**Summary**:
An AU Content Writer is responsible for crafting compelling, persuasive, and clear text for websites and online platforms, and should have excellent writing and editing skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing and SEO, and the ability to adapt their writing style to different audiences and platforms in English language localization.

**Key responsibilities**:
**1. Research and Analysis**:

- Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics.
- Analyzing competitors' content to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Gathering and verifying factual information from reliable sources.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and make them accessible to a broad audience.

**2. Content Creation**:

- Writing clear, concise, and compelling content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, whitepapers, webinars, script writing, press releases, and other digital platforms.
- Developing personalized content tailored to different stages of the customer journey.
- Developing content ideas and outlines that align with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Ensuring all written content is original and free of plagiarism.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of writing and editing.
- Commitment to producing error-free and high-quality content consistently.

**3. SEO Optimization**:

- Incorporating relevant keywords naturally into the content.
- Optimizing headlines, meta descriptions and keywords for search engines.

**4. Editing and Proofreading**:

- Reviewing and revising content for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
- Ensuring consistency in tone, style, and branding.
- Utilizing editing tools to enhance content quality.
- Revise content based on feedback from stakeholders and ensure it meets the company’s standards for quality and tone.

**6. Audience Engagement**:

- Understanding the target audience and tailoring content to meet their needs and preferences.
- Encouraging audience interaction through calls to action
- Responding to feedback and making necessary content adjustments.

**7. Brand and Compliance**:

- Adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring content aligns with the brand’s voice and style.
- Ensuring compliance with copyright laws and industry regulations.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role in marketing or communications.
- Bachelor of Communications, Mass Media, and any other relevant disciplines.
- Excellent communication both writing and speaking in English
- Exceptional time management skills and proactive nature.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to accept and implement constructive feedback to improve content quality.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices for content localization projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to the company’s voice and brand guidelines.
- Availability to work on a flexible schedule as needed.

**Job Types**: Fixed term, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
