Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Procurement and Contract Manager on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.

**Position Overview**

**Knowledge and experience**
- demonstrate an understanding of and experience in supporting and maintaining procurement systems and processes;
- demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the department's mission and policy requirements;
- engage with stakeholders at all levels in relation to procurement and contractual issues;
- identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations to achieve Water Reform Taskforce procurement outcomes;
- work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work; and
- be accountable to work within a team, communicate effectively while managing workflow and resources.

As an APS6 equivalent, you will be part of a small team working collaboratively to deliver on government water reform commitments. You will use your expertise in procurement and contract management to identify, prepare, and manage procurement processes and contracts across multiple teams working in a similar space on similar issues with the same key stakeholders. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the work of the taskforce through policy, program and engagement activities.
