Workshop/Service Technician | Eastern Creek

PremiAir is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management systems. At PremiAir Hire we are committed to providing our customers with unrivalled service excellence and efficient solutions.

We currently seeking to employ a full-time Workshop/Service Technician to join our busy Head Office service team based at Eastern Creek (Western Sydney).

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- The repair, service and maintenance of our hire fleet of equipment
- On-site servicing and repairs as required
- Fault finding on all diesel engines and compressors
- Other appropriate duties as directed
- Administrative tasks relevant to the position

We are seeking a person with the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Trade qualifications in a mechanical trade (preferably Compressor Technician or Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
- Previous experience with an equipment hire company is preferred however, working on plant/equipment in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or construction environment will be considered
- Forklift licence and white card is preferred
- Disconnect/re-connect electrical licence will be well regarded
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Can work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Has a strong team mind-set
- Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Can work overtime, including weekends when required and be part of an on-call roster
- Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics
- Has a stable work history and reliable work references
- Has a valid and current drivers licence

- Fault Finding: 3 years (preferred)
- Service Technician: 3 years (preferred)

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)

- Australia (required)
