**Join MS Queensland’s dedicated team providing in-home care for individuals with high and complex needs.**

MS Queensland is seeking experienced and passionate disability Support Workers to join our 24/7 rotating roster at Southport Villas. You’ll support individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis, MND, Cerebral Palsy, and other neurological and autoimmune conditions. We’re seeking **experienced Support Workers** with a strong background in high-complexity care. You'll ensure top-quality support while strictly following care plans.
- ** Shifts**: 5+ hours, both long and short, with 2-3 staff onsite at a time
- ** Locations**: Southport (immediate start) and Hope Island (relocating in ~2 months as Southport will undertake renovations with continuation at both sites after the renovation)
- ** Availability**: 10-38 hours/week, with flexibility
- ** Support**: Buddy shifts & detailed training including hands-on training from senior staff

**Your Role**:

- Personal care, mobility support, meal prep & household tasks
- Community access & social engagement
- Medication management & medical appointments
- Encouraging independence & self-determination
- Monitoring & reporting health changes
- Maintaining accurate records & following care plans

**What**We’re** Looking For**:

- **Cert III in Disability Support, Individual Support, or related field (must be completed)**:

- ** First Aid (within last 3 years) & CPR certification (within last 12 months)**:

- Hands-on experience with high-care disability support
- Understanding of person-centred care & NDIS delivery models
- Experience in daily cares, catheter & bowel care, hoisting, PEG feeding & medication administration
- Proactive problem solver with strong teamwork & communication skills
- Valid open-class driver’s license & comprehensive car insurance
- NDWS Clearance & Blue Card
- Completion of NDIS Online Worker Training before starting
