Youth Leadership Victoria Inc. is seeking passionate and qualified **Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educators** to join our **Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)** team at centres in the all suburbs of Metro Melbourne.

**Hours**: OSHC shifts are typically from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00/6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

**Job Summary**: We have vacancies for both **Part-time** and **Casual** positions starting **ASAP**.

You will work with children in a supportive, fun, and educational environment, helping them develop and grow. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for lesson planning, delivering educational programs, engaging with children, and liaising with families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement educational activities based on the **Early Years Learning Framework** **(EYLF) **and **National Quality Framework** **(NQF)**:

- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that supports each child’s individual development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with **National Regulations, Child Safe Standards**, and relevant legislation
- Work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality care and education programs.

**Key Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care** (or equivalent) in accordance with the **Educational and Care Services National Regulations (2011)**:

- Current **Level 2 First Aid Certificate **and **Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate**:

- **Satisfactory Police Check** and **Working with Children Check**:

- Knowledge of **National Regulations**, **NQF**, **VEYLD**, **EYLF**, and **Child Safe Standards**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

**Positions Available**:

- **OSHC Educators** : Lead and engage children in educational activities
- **OSHC Coordinators** : Lead and mentor teams, oversee programs
- **Area Managers** : Provide leadership and support across multiple centres
- **Relief Staff** : Flexible roles to cover shifts as needed
- **School Holiday Staff** : Help create fun and educational holiday programs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
