We are seeking a passionate and experienced Second in Charge to join their dedicated and long-standing team (average tenure 12 years). This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Childhood professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

As the 2IC you will work alongside the Centre Director to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the service and play an active role in supporting families, and ensuring the centre continues to provide high quality education to the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the centre director with the day-to-day operations of the service

• Manage family enquiries via phone and email

• Conduct centre tours and support families through the enrolment process

• Mentoring & inspiring a team of dedicated and experienced educators

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards including the National Quality Framework.

• Ongoing management of the services Quality Improvement Plan in collaboration with the Educational Leader

• Policy and procedure reviews and updates

• Step into the Centre Director role when required

By joining this team, you will become part of a values-driven, community focused centre, whist enjoying a 9-day fortnight, The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood, demonstrated experience along with exceptional communication and relationship skills.
