**Barossa Dental** is in the heart of Nuriootpa (Barossa Valley). This busy, modern practice is currently operating with 10 chairs and offers a complete range of dental services from general dental to innovative cosmetic procedures.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate **Dental Receptionist** to join our upbeat and hardworking team on a **full time basis.**

**The Heart of the role**:

- Be the first point of contact for our patients - Greeting checking them in and offering our services while they await treatment
- Preparation of front of house facilities
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients answering all phone enquiries making & confirming appointments; checking processing & managing customer accounts
- Patient care from entry to recall management
- General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
- Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions maintain stock control when requested

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience is working in the Dental (or Medical / Allied Health) sector is essential
- Previous experience managing an appointment book
- Dental Software knowledge would be advantageous
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work at a fast pace
- Has the ability to work under pressure in a calm manner
- Forward thinking and pro-active attitude
- A caring and friendly personality that will motivate those around you
- Valid Working with Children’s Check required
- Up to date Vaccinations against Covid - Government mandate for all healthcare workers
