As Volleyball Project Coordinator your primary role will be to coordinate the representative Volleyball program, in addition to teaching duties. You'll develop our student cohort and manage the coaches during regular training and competitions.About the role:

- Maintain teaching competency and currency of knowledge of relevant curriculum programs as required by the department or other relevant statutory authorities.
- Promotes the volleyball program within the school encouraging all students to participate
- Responsible for scheduling, organising transportation, and requirements for tournament and all associated volleyball events.
- Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
- Lead the field operations, setting coaching and program standards across the school
- Support training of new sports coaches on and off the court as needed.
- Other related tasks and opportunities aligned with growing and improving the school's Volleyball Program.
- Presents information to the Head of Department on all schedules, tournaments, and results.
- Establishes the fundamental philosophy, skills and techniques to be taught by the volleyball coaches.
- Assess students (diagnostic, formative and summative) for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
- Provides documentation to fulfill the school's requirements including parental consent, and eligibility.
- Provides training rules and any other unique regulations of the sport to each athlete who is considered a participant.
- Completes and submits correct paperwork associated with all competitions.
- Directs students, managers, assistants, and coaches.
- Organises parents, coaches, players and guests for pre-season meetings and training.
- Prepares students / teams throughout the year to participate in both the QVSC and AVSC.
