**About the role**
As the Operations Manager at Rover Motors, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our bus services in Cessnock, NSW. This full-time position will see you manage a team of professionals to ensure our transport operations run smoothly and meet the needs of our customers.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our bus services, including scheduling, fleet management, and driver supervision
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Manage and motivate a team of bus drivers, and other operational staff
- Analyse operational data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standards
- Contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making process
- Ensure all shifts, charters and any changes are entered into the Shift & Rosters System in a timely manner
- Management of Charters with enquiries, bookings and service delivery

**What we’re looking for**
- Proven experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Thorough understanding of transport regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transport management
- MR, HR licence (preferred)
