Our client based out in South Australian Port (Adelaide Airport) are a leading client in the aviation field. They are Australia's largest airline by fleet size, international & domestic flights, and international destinations. They currently have an opportunity within their ever-growing aviation team for a casual Heavy Vehicle Technician - if you have experience as a Light or Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Qualified Automotive Technician, Qualified Service Technician/Field Technician, Assembly or experience across hydraulics & pneumatic repairs this may be the role for you. This role would be Day Shift Monday to Friday 7am till 3.30pm

They currently have an opportunity within their ever-growing aviation team for a casual Heavy Vehicle Technician - if you have experience as a Light or Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Qualified Automotive Technician, Qualified Service Technician/Field Technician, Assembly or experience across hydraulics & pneumatic repairs this may be the role for you.

This role would be Day Shift Monday to Friday 7am till 3.30pm

**About the Role**:
Working as a part of team, you will be responsible for:

- Service, maintenance and repairs of ground service equipment (GSE) (Baggage carriages, conveyors, lifting equipment, tugs, trucks, vehicles etc Trouble shoot, diagnose and quote units for repair.
- Responsible for conducting assigned scheduled servicing and breakdown work both in the field and in the workshop.
- Attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults
- Troubleshooting, Repairs, and overhauls of customer equipment
- Undertake the mechanical assembly of components to meet design and build requirements.
- Diagnose and repair faults and undertake modifications
- Basic MIG and OXY Welding knowledge
- Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken.
- Comply with all company-wide policies & procedures

**About you**:

- Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician
- Experience as a Service Technician - preferred but not essential
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanical/Automotive Assembly or Electrical Experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have a strong knowledge of OHS procedures
- Work in a team environment
