Heavy Vehicle Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our Service Department in Adelaide, South Australia.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will have experience in servicing, repairing and reconditioning heavy vehicles and trailers. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working on complex mechanical systems and wants to be part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs and reconditioning of heavy vehicles and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair suspension, brake systems, axles and basic electrical faults.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and accurately documented.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to resolve quality issues and improve efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a mechanic, preferably in heavy vehicle or trailer maintenance.
  • Familiarity with transport or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of air brake systems, suspension and trailer components.
  • Ability to work in a team, take initiative and follow safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Relevant trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic (desirable).
