
Workforce Operations Manager

**The role**:
The Workforce Operations Manager will lead the Workforce Planning and Training teams to ensure the timely and effective preparation of employee rosters & operational training for the YouFoodz Custom Facility.
The role has a strong focus on workforce efficiency and operational excellence requiring a continuous improvement mindset.

**What you’ll do**:
- Lead multi functional teams including workforce planning and training
- Ensuring effective and timely rostering for all operational employees
- Provide recommendations for workforce planning and labour cost minimisation
- Effectively manage relationships with managers and supervisors to develop, maintain and implement training programs and initiatives across the custom facility
- Leading the Training team to ensure employee training requirements are met aligned against the Training Plan
- Participate and represent operations in projects and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead on the delivery of key metrics relevant to deliver on operational needs
- Ensuring the rostering system is maintained, and kept up to date whilst ensuring accuracy of all employee details are maintained in the relevant systems
- Support the workforce planning team in the recruitment of production team members and utilization of third party agencies
- Promote Health & Safety improvement strategies across the operation via the execution of targeted development via the training team
- Foster a workplace culture of accountability and performance leading with integrity and empathy
- Nurture a safe working environment with adherence to WorkSafe requirements, HelloFresh group safety requirements and other relevant OH&S standards.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Previous experience in workforce planning and training content development & delivery
- Understanding of workforce planning and rostering
- Experience in working with and interpreting Awards
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork
- Methodical and demonstrate an excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of WH&S, QA and training and assessment processes
- Understanding of OH&S legislation and the ability to educate and transfer knowledge
- Be an innovative, proactive and results oriented person
- Experience in continuous improvement and quality control will be highly regarded including lean manufacturing
- Highly developed influencing, relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate with influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams
- Experience in data analysis (desirable)
- Tertiary or industry related qualification(s) is desired but not essential.
