Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation. Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.

**About the role**

We have a full time, Production and Distribution Assistant role in our Sydney Roastery. Working in a small team of 10, Monday to Friday from 730am-330pm with the flexibility to work a later shift 930am-530pm if required. You will help deliver coffee across the state (and beyond). A typical day would look like:

- Review the orders for the day with the team.
- Deliver coffee via our “van runs” across Sydney daily.
- Follow our processes for preparing, assembling and packing customer orders.
- Execute excellent service to our eCommerce customer base, including speedy delivery, clear & proactive communications with customers on all aspects of orders and issues pre-shipping, effective troubleshooting etc.
- Checking and maintaining stock levels of all packing needs for online orders.
- Pre-bag coffee to prepare for the following day/s.
- Maintain the tidiness of the Roastery.

**About you**

You'll be positive and proactive in nature with an interest in coffee and drive to get into the industry. Ideally, you might come from a hospitality or logistics background, looking for a stable role with great work life balance in the specialty coffee industry.

To nail this role you’ll need:

- A manual car license and ability to drive our manual van
- Strong communication skills
- Be happy working as part of a team and also enjoy working independently
- Have some logistics/warehouse experience
- Be ok lifting up to 20kg
- Willing to obtain a forklift licence and operate a forklift to assist with warehouse operations
