We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team and assist clients living in the Hills District. The role involves providing person-centred support to individuals with varying needs, helping them maintain independence, improve quality of life, and participate in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship
- Support clients in daily living activities such as shopping, appointments, and recreational outings
- Assist with mobility, meal preparation, and medication prompts (as needed)
- Encourage and support client independence and empowerment
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the wider support team
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a support worker, aged care or community care role
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or related field (desirable)
- A reliable car, current driver’s licence, and comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination status in line with health regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, respectful attitude
Working Days:
2-3 days per week (flexible scheduling based on your availability and client needs)
