About the Role:
As the Principal Corporate Services Officer, you will lead key financial functions, combining strategic management accounting expertise with operational oversight. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategies, debt management, optimise processes, and contribute to a high-performing, data-driven team focused on excellence and equity.

Responsibilities include:
Monitor and report on divisional budget performance, contributing to business plans and budget submissions that align with departmental standards.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide valuable insights, streamline reporting, and support decision-making.
Supervise and guide a professional team to deliver effective financial management, corporate compliance, and operational support.
Provide clear and practical advice on corporate governance and financial systems, supporting continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
Oversee financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Conduct analysis and prepare reports, briefings, and submissions to highlight divisional trends and performance.
Lead the implementation and improvement of corporate systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring smooth operations and quality outcomes.
Organise and deliver training and professional development sessions to build team capability and support governance standards.

Highly advantageous skills:
Over 5 years' experience in finance role
Intermediate Excel and PowerBI skil
Ability to lead performance strategies, budgets, and reporting frameworks, driving financial success in complex organisational environments.
Ablke to deliver actionable insights through advanced problem-solving and critical analysis of complex financial challenges.
Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with expertise in managing dashboards, reporting, and analytics to support decision making.
Communicate complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders, ensuring informed decisions at all levels.
Experience in government and commercial operations highly advantageous.
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are highly regarded.
