Out of School Hours Care

**Introduction**:
We have multiple casual and part time positions available in Cooma and Jindabyne for Educators to provide a high standard of Education and Care to children through the implementation of contemporary Middle Childhood Education Programs that reflect the Principles and Practices of the My Time Our Place Framework.

**Description**:
The Role
- Ensure children are adequately supervised at all times in accordance with the supervision map or plan.
- Actively support every child to participate in the program.
- Ensure self and children effectively utilise health and hygiene practices.
- Complete documentation of children's learning in accordance with the Education and Care Services.
- Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect children from harm and any hazard likely to cause injury.
- Work collaboratively with families to achieve outcomes.
- Follows all risk management plans, policies and procedures.

- Understanding of work health and safety responsibilities.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Studying towards primary/early childhood education qualification.
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
- Food Safety, Handling and Hygiene training.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations and Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning or My Time Our Place Framework.

**CRCS also requires all employees to**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
