**The Position**:
The procurement function is highly regarded within the KB Seafood Co business and the experiences/empowerment/development you’ll receive here sets us apart from most organisations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Demand / Supply planning, Sales, Logistics / QA / NPD teams as well as other internal and external partners to achieve sustainable business outcomes.
- Manage a portfolio of international and local suppliers.
- Work with suppliers to align order replenishment against production plans and lead times, assuming continuity of supply.
- Identify and select vendors that meet KB’s Approved Supplier Program.
- Lead end to end procurement process which includes scoping of requirements, developing procurement strategies, RFP, cost analysis, contract development and negotiation, contract life cycle management and supplier relationship management.
- Research and gather supply intel / market updates to enable best insights into key commodities.
- Be agile with the business and contribute to overall results.
- Administration duties pertaining to supplier contracts, PO placement, Shipment confirmation, weekly / monthly reports.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience with end-to-end procurement processes.
- Experience in developing strong and sustainable supplier relationships.
- 5+ years’ experience in Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing/importing environment (FMCG/food manufacturing, highly advantageous)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous)
- Ability to manage multiple projects involving several stakeholders.
- Experience in complex environments.
- Imports experience is desirable.
- Excellent collaborative problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and strong computer literacy skills
