Our Buying team, in partnership with our Designers, Planners and Global Sourcing team are critical to delivering our business strategy and the success of Kmart.

As a **Buyer** working for Kmart, you are instrumental in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customers lives. _Exciting opportunity for an experienced Women’s Fashion Buyer to join a fun & supportive team within a fast-paced & dynamic trading environment._

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Developing ranges to establish the appropriate balance of Price, Volume, basics, quality, innovation and trend to deliver strong category growth.
- Ability to recognise and interpret trends and build ranges to ensure consistent brand handwriting.
- Using commercial skills, combined with the ability to analyse customer's needs and research to effectively deliver long term strategic growth.
- Managing the end -to-end Critical Path process across functions to meet instore dates.
- Managing and using strategies to achieve the financial plans including sales, profit and stock turn.

**To be successful in this role**:
We're looking for a driven, efficient and enthusiastic individual who will bring a curious mind-set and a passion for all things Women’s Fashion You love delivering product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths. We'd also love you to have:

- Extensive Buying experience combined with trend awareness (within Women’s Apparel is essential)
- Commercial focus working in a dynamic fast paced team.
- Highly driven and motivated.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven success driving category growth and delivering increased profit.
- Success oriented - you thrive in a team environment and enjoy being able to contribute to a business where you can drive further growth.
