LK Hospitality is a growing Hospitality Group lead by industry titans and based in South Yarra’s iconic Capitol Grand. The team are behind the venues Omnia Bistro & Bar, Yugen Dining, Yugen Tea Bar and most recently, Bromley Events. With two hats recently awarded to both Omnia and Yugen, LK Hospitality is just getting started With the upcoming additions to our Event spaces and our unstoppable growth, we are on the hunt for the best talent to lead our Event Operations team to the next level.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
As the event function at LK Hospitality is growing, we are on the hunt for key a leadership team member - our new Events Manager
The Events Manager will be responsible for leading small, medium, and large-scale events in multiple spaces throughout the venue. With exceptional knowledge of high-quality service, the Events Manager will be a hands-on role where floor service and interaction with clients is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and develop the events Food & Beverage team
- Strong attention to the event area, overseeing the floor, bar and overall ambience
- Maintain a consistently elevated standard of events
- Hands on leadership and direction
- Management, training & development of the events team
- Roster management
- Briefing and debriefing the events team, including performance management
- Work closely with the Events Planner in the lead up to events
- Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders and department heads
- Understands client's needs and facilitate their requests to ensure their expectations are exceeded
THE KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience in managing high-calibre functions, events or similar venues
- Hospitality FOH and floor experience essential
- Ability to enthuse and empower all staff on your team
- Ability to adapt to the changing event environment
- Exceptional communication and leaderships skills
- Outstanding pressure management mindset
