**About the opportunity**

**In TASK we put customers at the heart of everything we do.**
- **The clients**: a wide range of **high-profile retail chains and large venues** (pubs, clubs, franchised businesses, stadiums, hotels and casinos).
- **Product scoping**: collaborate with the Product management team and provide technical input into the design process through articulating clear technical requirements.
- **Software Development**:Deliver testable code that aligns to specification and including automated tests where possible.
- Provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
- **You will be based in our Sydney office in Mona Vale (Northern beaches).**

**What are we looking for?**
- At least 5 years' experience with.NET, Azure Dev Ops, GIT, Visual Studio, and MS SQL Management Studio.
- At least 5 years' software development experience with POS technologies.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.
- Experience defining engineer “best practices” at individual & team levels.
- Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering.
- Comfortable leading and mentoring others in the business, including in a distributed team environment. Flexibility to work with internal and external stakeholders across various time zones.
