**About the role**:
The Strategic Engagement Lead (SEL) is a senior role within the ICT Services, Service Delivery team, responsible for fostering high-level strategic relationships between ICT Services and key stakeholders across the Department for Education. The SEL ensures ICT Services is effectively represented in cross-divisional initiatives that have a strong reliance on ICT, while also aligning with key departmental stakeholder groups. This role is critical to facilitating appropriate engagement of broader ICT Services teams and resources, and ensuring stakeholder roles, responsibilities, and expectations are clearly understood and delivered on. The SEL contributes to shaping and driving existing and future ICT Services strategies to align with the evolving priorities of a world class public education system.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO8 $121,107 - 125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
