**Head of Sales & Marketing**

Our **Avionics (AVS) **business develops a range of high-tech avionics and training & simulation solutions for defence and civil markets In Australia.
**The Opportunity**
We have an exciting sales leadership opportunity to join our AVS business, leading and driving the growth of the AVS portfolio both in the defence and civil markets.
Leading a team of 2 Business Development Managers this role will be responsible for:
- Managing the sales opportunity pipeline across the Avionics business in Australia and New Zealand;
- Partnering with Key Account Managers, Capture leads and other stakeholders to manage customers’ needs and create future opportunities;
- Participating in developing the AVS business strategy;
- Ensuring all business development & Sales activities are aligned to the AVS strategy;
- Development of the Sales & Marketing strategy;
- Writing technical proposals for new bids.
**About You**
Ideally, we are looking for a highly adaptable sales leader who has the ability to prioritise and bring customers along on the journey and make a difference for the business. To meet the requirements of the role with ease you will ideally have:
- Prior experience in a Senior Sales & Marketing position in Defence and Civil markets
- Highly developed strategic and analytical skills for key decision making
- Extensive experience working in a multi-national sales environment
- Ability to lead in an international environment with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Exceptional customer focus and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
- Existing Security Clearance or ability to attain one
