The Specialist Consultant delivers services to People Leaders and Senior Managers in support of developing and maintaining Diverse and Inclusive teams. As well as developing and taking ownership of strategic people solutions. In this role you will be the expert in Inclusion and run projects to progress Origin's Inclusion Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plans.
Working across multiple stakeholders from Executive level to grassroots Employee Resource Groups, the Specialist Consultant is accountable for research, solution design thinking, development as well as delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain current SME knowledge in Diversity and Inclusion area ensuring a good understanding of external and internal perspectives
- Supports Employee Resource Groups guiding them on strategy and supports initiative delivery
- Works with senior leaders to deliver strategies that support their Inclusion needs
- Cultivating research from varied feedback sources, conducts market scans and available information to clearly identify and define issues. Reviews and evaluate data to generate insights
- Identify, develop recommendations ensuring a clear business case/ justification to gain buy in and outcome
- Enacts project management plans and delivery
- Contribute to governance and board paper writing
- Development of delivery, change and communications plans to deliver solutions
- Stay connected to business leaders and business goals to be able to build practical solutions that will work
**IS THIS YOU?**
To be considered for this role you will be passionate about making a change, with the ability to take others through the journey. You will have solid experience working within Diversity & Inclusion and/ or Project Management role. Enjoy taking initiative and be task and goal orientated. With the ability to influence, guide, train, and mentor stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
You will have or be able to show:
- Experience and ability to deliver organisational wide change set timelines and associated deliverables
- Proven ability to develop fact-based business case and influence solutions
- Experienced at facilitating change
- Strong Stakeholder Management, and the ability to influence others
- Exceptional communicator, including verbal and written content
- Understands change models and the importance of change to a project
- Understanding of working in a strong project governance environment
- Experience working in a complex and large organisations, with matrix-based teams will be highly regarded
